Safeguarding Our People & The Environment

At Multimarine Shipyards, we are committed to protect the health and safety of everyone involved in our operations, safeguard the environment, and create long-lasting, positive impact on the communities where we do business. We strongly believe that all incidents are preventable and that all hazards can and must be recognised, monitored and assessed.

Multimarine follows a Health and Safety Management System accredited to OHSAS 18001:2007 and an Environmental Management System accredited to ISO 14001:2015 by LRQA.

Responsible Health and Safety Management is positively correlated with our growth, profitability and long term success. Our clients expect excellent health and safety performance from their partners and are not willing to work with those that cannot achieve it. Conversely, poor health and safety performance is often associated with poor management and poor business performance.

We strive towards continuous improvement of our Health and Safety performance, and we have incorporated a comprehensive Health and Safety Management System to our operations. We ensure that our Health, Safety & Environmental Policy is visible to everyone working at our premises and our expectations are fully communicated.

It is also our long-standing policy to operate in a manner that is not harmful to the environment and to the local communities we operate.  In our daily operations, we have implemented an Environmental Management System accredited to ISO 14001:2015. We aim to create a legacy where our activities will be sustainable in terms of promoting economic growth, creating a healthy environment and supporting the local communities, both now and in the future.

The company’s commitment begins by demonstrating a visible and active leadership that engages our employees to effectively manage our health, safety and environmental performance. By setting the example, the Management Team ensures that all our employees take reasonable care of their own safety and of the safety of their colleagues.

ANTI-CORRUPTION & BRIBERY POLICY

It is Multimarine’s policy to conduct all of our business in an honest and ethical manner. We take a zero tolerance approach to bribery and corruption and are committed to acting professionally, fairly and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships wherever we operate.

We will uphold all laws and provisions as of The Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) which are relevant to countering bribery and corruption in all the jurisdictions in which we operate.
